The past simple, also known as the simple past is the tense used in the English language to narrate events that occurred at a specific time in the past. Corresponds in meaning to simple past tense in Spanish.

The past simple is usually temporary expressions that refer to the past, such as yesterday, last night / week / month / year / Tuesday, then, When?, How long ago ...?,
The Simple Past is the Past tense is used to:
Describe the actions that took place at a certain time in the past,
Past events that have been completed but whose right time is not mentioned, as well as for ...
Describe routines performed previously.
To describe past actions or routines, it is necessary to know the difference between the two types of verbs: The regular and irregular.
